APC will open a new page for Nigeria, says Saraki

Here is the 2015 Presidential Election Results So Far

Leader of All Progressive Congress (APC) in kwara state, and chairman senate committee on environment,Dr. Bukola Saraki, has said the incoming APC government will open a new page for Nigeria where things will be done properly, adding that the  party’s landslide victory in the state in the last election was a reflection of the wishes of the people.
The former governor of Kwara state who spoke with reporters in Ilorin after he was declared winner of the kwara central senatorial district, stressed further that the landslide victory recorded in the state has vindicated the APC that “the peoples might is more than federal might”.

Saraki said the result of elections so far declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was victory for Nigerians and not APC alone.
He said the said landslide victory recorded by the APC  in the state during last saturday’s presidential/NASS election was not a fluke but a reflection of the commitment of the party’s leadership to good governance and connection with the people.
His words,”The wind of change has come,we will open a new page for Nigerians where things will be done properly.
“I think for Nigerians ,the victory is to be able to vote out a seating government. Nigerians have spoken rightly that they have the power to vote you in and power to vote you out and I think current people in government including people like me will seat up”.
“I hope it will be a grate lesson for politicians who believe in Abuja and Federal might, they have learnt their first lesson of politics that the peoples might is more than federal might
and until they come to terms with this, they will continue to learn more lessons”
The former governor of the state advised those who are yet to join the mainstream politics of the state to do stressing that the era of impunity in Nigeria had gone with the past.
He particularly asked the people of Ekiti local government area of the state where the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate hailed from not to vote based on sentiments in the coming governorship elections because according to him, their son cannot be governor by winning only one local government.
On the controversy trailing the issue of election in Rivers state where Governor Rotimi Amaechi boycotted elections, the APC leader called on INEC to review the situation saying a situation where elections was being conducted without a result sheet available was not right.
He also called on nigerians to see the outcome of the elections in the spirit of sportsmanship and therefore avoid promoting violence stressing that in any election, there must be a winner and a loser.
Senator Bukola Saraki also confirmed that his younger sister,Senator Gbemisola Saraki has dumped PDP to join him in APC,saying that,”things are happening”
